Exclusive Nut Trees
Exclusive nut trees—the name says it all. These are trees that are rare or difficult to obtain. Our exclusive nut trees are not commonly found and are only propagated and offered by a select group of tree growers.

In some cases, an exclusivity agreement is essential. Additionally, the propagation of certain varieties requires licensing fees, indicating that these nut trees are cultivated in a controlled environment. These exclusive trees must also meet specific standards to be officially recognized.
These exclusive nut trees become the focal point of your garden. With their unique shape and appearance, they are true eye-catchers. But what makes a nut tree exclusive? It could be the color and shape of the leaves, or the nuts themselves, which may differ from the more commonly known varieties.
There are several factors to consider when purchasing one of our exclusive nut trees. How much space will the tree have? Is the soil suitable? This includes factors such as acidity levels and overall soil condition. Existing vegetation can also impact the tree’s health. For young trees, it is particularly important to keep the tree base clear of competing plants such as weeds or turf, as these can negatively affect growth. Additionally, soil that is too wet can harm the tree’s development and overall health. The soil should be loose and well-aerated to allow the tree to establish strong roots. An open location with nutrient-rich humus soil provides an ideal growing environment.
Our stock includes a variety of trees available in different heights, ranging from 50 cm to 150 cm for some trees, and up to 250 cm for others. Keep in mind that the tree will need several years to reach its maximum height. Since 2020, De Nootsaeck has been offering a selection of trees for which we hold the licensing rights, including the promising variety "Komeet."
