Walnut tree Juglans regia 'Fernor'
√ Good tasting nut
√ Late flowering time
√ High production
√ Self-pollinating
The Juglans regia Fernor
This healthy walnut tree is hugely popular among walnut varieties. Its late flowering time makes it very suitable for walnut production in somewhat colder climates. It is thus widely planted in France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. The tree is self-pollinating, but for better pollination we recommend planting Juglans regia Fraquette, which we also have in stock in our webshop.
The Nut
The well-filled and flavourful nut is relatively large. Its thin shell is easy to crack making it one of the best general walnut varieties.
